Hey everyone,
Just wondering how many of you are working on any high end projects? I've got some projects in the works, but am curious as to what's out there.
Thanks,
Glenn

I don't know what you consider high end? I will be breeding Tangerine Tornados from the urban gecko this year. I also will be working with Albey,HISS,the Hypo Gecko Leos. I only purchased quality breeders for my group.

Hey Brian,
I guess I'm wondering what's in demand right now? What's the "gecko morph of choice"? I raised leos years ago (just normals though) and would like to get into it again, this time with some of the more "high end" mutations.
As I said, I have been out of leos for a while and have not seen a 100% carrot-tail anywhere yet. Has anyone hatched one?
Are the RAPTORS and Mack Snows the "in" thing right now?
Just trying to get a feel for what's going on in the leo world right now! Thanks to all offering any insight!
Glenn
Just to answer one of the questions, the gecko with the most amount of carrot tail is about 97%. I haven't seen a full 100% carrot tail yet.
Snows and Raptors are very popular right now. With Leos you need to look one step ahead though. What most people are working on now are combining a morph with line bred traits. Like Letkeys Raining Red Stripes, Sunglow/Hybinos, Raptors, Albino Snows, Patternless Snows.

Raptors and Mack snows are definately the in thing.
It can be very hard however to try to sell high end leopard geckos and those are very high end animals.
I think that the absolute best entry level leopard gecko is the Tremper Jungle Giant. They are beautiful animals at a mid level to lower-middle price range. They would probally earn the best return on your money spent.
The leopard gecko community is a pretty tight knit bunch. It can take some serious time and effort to be recognized by your peers in this community. Don't get me wrong it is a very friendly group of people. However It could take awhile to convince someone to buy a gecko from you instead of someone who has been established for a number of years.
