That should be fine for 2 Pictus geckos. Or Two Helmet Geckos.

well those are very interesting choices, BUT they will not be able to live in my desert cage.

I have a PVC pipe hideout that divides the cage in half and acts as a hide the pipe is about 4 inches tall and thick...with a ramp leading from one side of the cage to the other....on one side of the cage it is 2 inches of gravel and sand....one the other side it is 5 inches of sand with scattered leaves and lots of rocks..... there is a corkbark ramp leading over the gravel and pipe hideout to the sand....

i dont really think such small lizards could climb up it

i will post pics once i find my F****** USB CORD!!!!

ANYBODY HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS?

You could get one or two leopard geckos. The are easy to breed and get used to handling. They rarely bite.

why do you have a cage that is already set-up?
if it is because you had a previous animal in the cage, you should consider doing a complete redo and clean out the cage decorations. this would be a good husbandry practice and would most likely allow you to consider getting more species of geckos/lizards for your cage size.

i designed this cage because i recently bought a bokk entitled " Design and Maintenance of Desert Vivaria". i had this cage lying around and decided to use it and make a nice attractive, naturalistic desert cage.

Yes is did hold other animals before....it held a Blue tongue skink 4 years ago....since then the cage has been sanatized with a 5% bleach solution.....then thoroughly washed and soaked in water and then towel dried...it soaked for 1 week
