Well well well ... I havent posted any pics in a while so I figured I would post some of a dinkn project that I am working with ... I like to think of her as a "reverse calico" instead of white it is black ... She has it completely up and down her body ... She just came out of shed today (post ovulation shed) ... So I am counting down the days !!! I cant wait to see if this girl proves out genetic ...

Great looking animal. I believe people refer to them as IMG. Increased Melanin Gene. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here. To the best of my knowledge they have not been proven out YET.

To an extent I do agree with you ... I have seen IMGs with the same markings but it covers the entire body ... I could be completely wrong about her ... She could just be a lower IMG ... But when I look at her compared to IMGs there is just something different ... The rest of her body is normal ... Just the lower 1/3 is like that ... Oh well time will tell ...

We have an adult female that looks just like her that we got in from Africa 2 years ago. She is breeding with a Pastel 66% het Ghost this year and I guess we will see what we get with her in the future. We call ours a Reverse PIED. Best of luck with your girl.

Mind posting a pic of her? We had ours with a Mojo and YB ... I love the Ebonys and the Granite Mojos ... Hopefully if it is genetic then I think the cross will be killer with both of them so the clutch will be a total surprise ...
