3 & 1/2 years later

PHRatz Jan 23, 2006 09:12 AM

Destiny was out & about a couple of weeks ago grazing the dormant Bermuda grass, picking out small greens that are just now sprouting.
I got a good shot of her with her dog, then I found an old one from 2002 when Destiny had been here for 2 months. What a difference 3 & 1/2 years has made!
The first picture was taken in Sept. of 2002, the second pic is from Jan. 2006

Hey somebody turned my kids into a hot topic! Thanks
Well Diogee is a little more grey around the edges lol but all things considered he's doing pretty well right now.
Just the other day he tried to share Destiny's turnip greens with her but couldn't quite stand the taste lol.

We've had a problem with Destiny this winter caused by unseasonably warm weather. There's been 3-4 times she's gotten stuck outside because it got dark before it got cold enough for her to go home. DH had to carry her home.
Now we're thinking we need to build more fence with gates to block off the backyard in the winter so she won't be able to go too far & get stuck like that... when she weighs even MORE!
Summers she can have those gates open but in winter if she can't get too far that'd be a lot better for all of us.

Time flies Melissa, I can't believe it's been 10 years since we got Scooter the yellow mud & 12 for Fluffy the western painted and Diogee is 12 too! Man!!!

I know, it's amazing how that works isn't it?
Maybe it's true what they say, as you age you shrink?
LOL
