Everyone, I just wanted to say thanks for all your answers to my various questions. When I received my Unicolor, he had a bad noserub, incomplete shed and I never saw him out.(plus I couldn't get him to eat his rats) After posting here and receiving help from Dean via email and the posts here, I was able to make him much happier.
Now, after raising the humidity in his cage, he is a new boy. He went into shed again and his nose looks a bit better. I fed him a small/medium(before he would only eat mice) rat, which he ate and now he comes out of his hide and checks me out! He is definately my favorite snake and am very happy with his progress. Unfortunately, he just makes me want another one. I found that decorating his cage with more stuff helped a lot too. I have fake ferns, logs, multiple smaller hides(in addition to his HUGE hide) etc. and now he is much more apt to explore. Anyway, thanks.
