? about growth rates

I have 2 albino's that are @ the same age(@9 Months)but are diff in size. My female is growing considerably faster/quicker than my male. Now the interesting thing is that all conditions are equal. They have same heat, ambient temps and fed at same size. I have taken both to the the vet and he has told me there is nothing wrong with the male. Ran fecals and everything. The cool thing is the female albino is that she is indeed a coral. She is the one i posted about earlier this month. I talked to the breeder and he did indeed confirm my suspicions about his blood line. He did not advertise her as coral since he sold her to me when she was too young to tell if she was going to turn into a coral. Has anyone else noticed that corals grow quicker than average albino's or is it just plain luck.

boas just like people grow at different rates and acquire different adult sizes. since females tend to grow to be larger than males it would only make sense that they do so at a faster rate. additionally males become sexually mature mush earlier then females. there is deffinately nothing to worry about, just different growth patterns.

I read your post quickly, so I may have missed some things, but here is some help.

It is normal for boas to grow at different rates. Most of my Boas are '04 so I will discuss the differences there.
My female poss het Blood is around 5 ft. and is fed once a week, her brother, on a similar diet is 3.5 ft. Then there is my albino she is a little one at 3ft., and then my female poss het Leopard is right between the Blood and Albino.
My Hypo female is around 4 ft. All of my boas are fed weekly, unless they look like they need a week off, or are in shed.

I would not worry about a size difference, it is normal. Especially between males and females, since female mature at much larger sizes.

I know my group isn't the best example due to the variety of locales, but gives you an idea.
