krystal19_85 Jul 25, 2003 03:16 PM

This will be my first show and I am starting my first breeding this up comming season (after the show), and I want someone to teach me how to probe or pop so I am ready for my first clutch. It would also be nice for someone to show me the ropes. I DREAM about going to Daytona, but it will be years before I can go that far, I live in Michigan, A.K.A. the most herpless state or place in the world!!!! EVERYONE I know in Michigan os afraid of me or just thinks I am stupid! I hate it here! LOL So if anyone is from MI PLEASE e-mail me so I know I am not one of the like 5 people here into herps!!!

that is why I was asking who would be willing to teach me in Chicago or in Michigan so I can start learning. Never thought I would learn online, even if you could, I woulden't. My animals mean too much to me.

I am planning on it. I'm also in michigan, and there are lots of people who keep reptiles. the high school I went to in the suburbs of Grand Rapids keeps around 70 to 100 exotics - reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds - and that's where I got into it. There are a few breeders in the greater detroit area, too. Anyway, have fun in chicago, its a good show. -Whit

Southeast of Grand Rapids. Altho, I'll be moving to washtenaw co. in august for college. Hope that helps clarify things. -Whit
