I was just wondering if jelly would be alright to feed a crested?
I ran out of baby food last night and was wondering if jelly might work as a substitute?
It's red raspberry jelly by the way....if that matters

jelly is all sugar. go to the store and get more babyfood.

Better yet, get the T-Rex/Sandfire Complete Meal Powder, either CrestedGeckoDiet or GargoyleGD. Baby food falls far short of supplying everything geckos need and the CMP has been formulated to do that.

do as terri suggested, go for the t-rex crested gecko diet and take them off of the junk food you are giving them.

besides being all sugar and dyes, jello also contains geletine which may block intestines etc.

Fresh fruit is much better than baby food, puree it youself in a small blender or food processor, or chop really fine. To this y ou can add a pinch or so of multivitamine and calcium powder (typcially make enough for several feedings and keep either refrigerated or frozen in single portions (the tiny icecube trays are great for t his, but cover them so they do not get freezer burn).

The Crested Gecko diet is also very good to offer, being completely designed to meet the nutritional needs of crested geckos.
