Lighting/Heating options

Hi everyone,

Just a few questions ive got. I recently got a pacman and am hearing so many conflicting stories about lighting/heating it. I started off with a UTH and a top for the aquarium with a full spectrum repti sun 5.0 light. That didnt work very well. Temps were only around 72 ish. Now, ive got a clamp light with a regular light bulb in it. Its working fine, but im worried it may be too bright for the little guy. Ive got the frog in a critter carrier for now with some wet paper towels and few crickets until i figure out whats best. I was happy with the full spectrum, but was under the inpression they liked it around 80, which is what I get with the current setup.

Any advice is appreciated.

i keep my pacman frog at about 75-80 degrees using a 15 watt blue heat light and use a repti-glo 2.0 flourscent light, i also have a 20 watt under tank heater, but it doesn't really do much since it is against the drainage rocks.
i keep my house at 68 degrees, i have had pacman s at room temperature with no problems as well, that is how i keep my african bulls, they have a heat pad but it only keeps on area of the dirt warm and they don't spend much time burried there. so whether you use a light or not is up to you, but i would not use and lights over 25 watts because it will dry the frog and its habitat out.
hope this helps
