Is it ok to use play sand from a place like lowes, as a bedding for beardeds. I want to use something nice but not to expensive any ideas?

Is it ok to use play sand from a place like lowes, as a bedding for beardeds. I want to use something nice but not to expensive any ideas?
for my beardies, I use paper towels, because they are never on the ground there always on their sticks , and they don't care. But for my uro he is now on sand. you can get it at homedepot and i'm sure at lowes, it is safe, just make sure that it is WASHED play sand and you'll be fine, i know at home depot it's only like $2.77 or something for a 50lb bag so it's very economical. (it's a clear bag with red and green type )
My female likes to eat potting soil/sand so she can't be on it. as long as you watch urs and they don't eat the sand they'll be fine!

I heard not to buy the sane from Lowe's for some reason. Maybe they dont wash their sand? I bought the sand from Home Depot and cost me $1.99 for 50 lbs and when I opened it, it was wet and I had to let it dry.
