Thayeri. Thought I'd post this one here for a change instead of mexicana forum. This guy is greatly reduced black. Thanks for looking. Mike B.

That's a real beauty Mike. Do you enjoy keeping the Thayeri Kings more than other types of kings? Just wondering, since I had one a few years ago and was thinking of getting another one soon I hope. I liked his temperment and nice color, similar to yours but not quite as spectacular. Also, could you recommend anyone whom I might be able to obtain a nice Thayeri such as this one pictured? Thanks. Jim

Jim, Hi, if you go to mexicana forum, there are alot of good breeders there. I breed also. I think you'll find that most have sold their best babies from last season. But email a few people and find out. There's alot of good people on that board. I only breed thayeri. They are a nice small king with a calm disposition usually. And they come in endless colors and patterns.. Go to that forum and check out some of the photos. Hope this helps. mike

One final question, when is the next time you and the others would have new cluches of baby Thayeri snakes? In the spring time maybe? Not familiar with breeding cycles as you can tell, but just want to plan ahead some and get a nice hatchling vs. an older king. Thanks again for the useful info. Jim

Vichris, owner of Vichris Variables, had a beautiful little male late into last season. If I were ready to commit to have a third snake, I'd get that snake. You might check out his posts and check out his page.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.
