Incubator or mother?

which do you all prefer? letting mom deal with the eggs herself or using an incubator? which (in your opinion) produced better results? Thanks for the replys

it depends, I prefer an incubator, seeing as how the south is so temperature fluctuant,im actually in the midst of building an incubator out of a double door coke cooler you can see a 3-D image of it if you look a few posts down

if you can keep your temps in the sweet range 88-91 consistently and keep your humidity high enough you may get very good results utilizing maternal incubation

but on the flipside a well made incubator can keep your sweet spot temps exactly where u want them and keep the perfect humidity to get an excellent hatch rate

One of the last 2 Issues of Reptiles Magazine addressed this very issue. Check it out, it's very interesting and some people are now being sold on letting mom do it all.
