Doesn't poop

ripper Jan 25, 2006 11:13 AM

Help please. I have had my blood for about 6 months and it has only taken one dump in that time. Mind you it was a large dump, but still only once. It feeds regularly so it is not as if he isn't eating and I gave him a good dose of dewormer when I first got him so I don't think it's internal parasites. I don't know if this is normal behavior, but it does seem odd to me. I have not been able to find any information about this so if anyone experienced in blood python care can give me a hand I would appreciate it and so would my blood.

Don't worry, this is normal. My blood poops maybe every 4-5 months. I've heard of others pooping even less.

Thank you Amelthia for responding so quickly. I feel much better now.
