Dead scales.....?

phiber_optikx Jan 25, 2006 03:44 PM

My female black rat as a few random scales that are hard and discolored..... I am pretty sure they will go away after her next shed but what causes this? and is it harmfull to the snake?

Sounds like the snake didn't shed the scales last time it shed. If that is the case, she should shed them next time if she is properly hydrated.
