They kind of look alike in color. Is yours good tempered? Tempest is really mellow.

She use to not be. I use to have to grab her off branches with a snake hook. Now I've progressed to picking her up with just gloves on. She use to bite no matter what if I touched her or got my hand close when she was awake. Now she sort of enjoys climbing all over me and doesn't so much mind if I touch her in her cage just as long as I'm not picking her off her branch or I have to use gloves.

It's good that she's mellowing for you. Mine is so tame, that even children can touch her. She just hangs out and her tongue slowly flickers. I don't allow them to hold her so that they don't injure her, but she's certainly tame enough to have them do so. She's never ever offered to bite except after dark. Then watch out! If you open the cage, you better have tongs with a mouse attached to it! If I accidently wait until lights out to spray her, she'll even strike out at the sprayer.
