Does anybody have info on Lampropeltis triangulum celaenops clutch size?

Patton Jan 25, 2006 09:37 PM

I have an '02 pair of Lampropeltis triangulum celaenops,
New Mexico Milksnakes. This will be the first year that I've tried to breed them, they're going at it as I write this. I can't find any info on average clutch sizes and whether or not they double clutch? Anybody have any experience with them?
Thank you,
Phil Patton

first, let me say i have never bred them,or kept them for that matter-i was figuring some celaenops keepers would have responded by now......regardless,there's no reason why they can't double clutch like any other species if conditions are prime...i have always heard 2 to 4 eggs is a normal clutch size-these are pretty small milks, good luck.

Depends on the snakes size and sometimes the locality that the snakes originated from. In all, the clutch size can be anywhere from 2-10 eggs.
