help! snake shedding while is hibernation

steffenssnakes Jan 25, 2006 11:34 PM

Well for some reason my hypo female hondo went into shed while she was in hibernation in my fridge! Should I take her out or leave her in! She has been in a opaque period for at least two weeeks. And she has about 3 weeks left to hibernate! will she shed the skin. What should I do????
Thanks
steffen

just relax and monitor it closely......snakes probably go through the shedding cycle during natural brumation....humidity will be an important factor..........

Due to the cooler temps her shed will take longer than usual but she should have no problem.
