can you over feed a ball and wut kinds of problems(if any) can it cause? will a ball just keep eating wutever its offered or will it refuse excess food?

in theory it is possible to overfeed your BP. However BP's seem to be very intuned with their bodies and quit eating when they start to get obese, at least in my experience they do. I have 2 animals that eat whenever I offer, even if it's back to back days, both animals grow very well in length and girth so obesity isn't an issue. One of them went from 1800 gm in april to over 3000 gm in november. she has bred my het pied male and I can palpate at least 8 eggs in her. My other female that eats like crazy is an 05 het pied that was 160 gm in daytona when I purchased her and she now weighs 960 gm. She is fed on a 5 day schedule but she takes very nice sized rats and uses every bit of them. Every other one of my snakes don't show as good of growth rates even ones that are kept on the same feeding patterns. If any of them start to show signs of being obese I will just cut back to every 7 day feedings until a healthy size is reached.

thanx. thats what i suspected. i asked because i when i get bored sometimes im like "i wonder if naima(my snake) is hungry?" and she always eats. even if i fed her the day before.
