NO!!!!! Do not put them in the same cage! You need to get seperate cages for them. It is never a good idea to house two serperate spiecies together. If you put these to types together what will mostly happen is a very large nasty fight w/ on or both of your animails dead and if one does survive it will be badly injured. I read a testamonial somewhere (have no idea where now) that someone else had put A bearded Dragon and a Uro together. When they did this the Bearded Dragon bit the Uro at the base of his tail. The Uro reacted by swinging its tail violently till the Bearded Dragon let go. The owner said he had a heck of a time getting the two apart and into a save location. So if you have them housed together right now I would correct it a.s.a.p. so you may have many enjoyable years w/ your animals. Happy Herping!

this is also a bad idea becasue the housing requirements are differnt for the two reptiles, uros require a much higher basking temperature than BD's

Hello, up until recently we had our beardie and mali in together, They didnt seem to have a problem with each other. They were actually sold to us as a pair. Once they got older though we decided it was best to seperate them and now they have their owns mate to play with. So when they're young, they seem to get along?

about four years ago i housed a male malis with a breeding pair of beardies. they got along fine. They would eat, sleep, and bask together. They never fought eachother. When i would feed them i would feed the beardies their crix in a container and feed all of them veggies and seeds in the tank. had a small water bowl since the tank was well vented. i had two beardie basking spots at 110 and 1 uro basking spot at 130. They lived healthy for at least 4 years. They didn't die on the forth year but i had to give the trio away because i moved.

BUT
before i put them together i went to the vet checked them for parasites and then asked the vet if it was ok to house them together. He said some people say yes because they have most of the same needs but he also said lots of people say no because of parasites. He told me i could put them together but if any of them weren't doing good i would have to separate them and keep them separated.

It is totally your choice. lots of people say, "No dont do it they will die from parasites" I say do whatever you want as long as your not killing or harming any of them. Yes parasites can be an issue but i really had absolutly no issues what so ever. people have more problems house mutilple uros than i ever had housing my uros and beardies. I know some of you house different species with uros and it works out fine. If you do choose to house them together they probably will get a long fine and do great but always be prepared for the worst.

PS
This is very long or
