Pastel Harlequins

joseph02 Jan 26, 2006 11:24 AM

I read a post a few days ago about harlequins and animals that have been crossed into proven lines. As usually it has taken me 3 days to get photos but I thought I would share. The harlequin gene has been good and bad to me.
I think the pastel harliquen is hot and just the addition of the floating pattern is a bonus, however I did breed two unrelated "harliquen" animals last year and no super. Hopefully it's just the two line are not compatable. I will be breeding a pastel harlequin back to his mom this year with great expectations, this breed will dictate whether I will offer pastel harliquens next year. Here hopin for the best.

Have a great day

John,

I think Im going to keep the mom under wraps until she breeds back to her son. Maybe she's a diamond in the rough.
