Washing Out With Age

baldogo Jan 26, 2006 12:00 PM

Here is a Normal Amel Albino. This one is almost 3 years old and keeps getting lighter in color with each shed. Some of the younger Amels that we have are "washing out" very quickly at less than one year of age.

She's looking good Al! I'd love to see some full body shots of the older Amel tigers... Additionally, some pics of the recent clutch that's washing out at a faster rate would be interesting

Have a good one Al!

Brian, here is an Amel Tiger that is almost 3 years old. I sprayed him down because I thought he was going to shed today, but he didn't. I will snap some full body shots of him after he sheds.

Thank you Jim and Kelly for the nice comments. Hopefully, he will turn out to look just like his mother.
