Crazy Behavior!

I currently have three CWD babies (about 4 inches long snout to tail) and I have noticed that one seems to be very agressive with the other two. He/she (although I believe it's a 'he' because of his attitude) will chase the other two.. try to bite their necks or backs, then bob his head and wave his arm(the arm waving really is funny if you've never seen it. I sure haven't seen it even though I have had dragons before). It really seems to bother the other two.. they run away and 'bark' until he leaves them alone. Is this a territory issue? I would think they are too young for that.. mabye not. Any ideas?

Also.. why do CWD's like to 'stack' on top of each other while sleeping/basking? I've seen it all the time, but never really did find out why.

I will also post some pictures of them ASAP.

Thanks!

Hi,

this is a very common observation, especially in smalleer groups of juveniles.
You have to immediately seperate the agressive specimen, otherwise it may stress the others to death.
If they are grown up, you can try to reintroduce it.

The "stacking behaviour" may have several reasons. Babies and juvies tend to live semisocially, which of course in part accounts for the phenomenon.
But often much more important is the fact that upon searching for the best basking spot in their tank, they all end up at the same area.
In really large tanks wiht several spots, this behaviour typically is much less obvious.

CWD's are not mean to cage mates but he/she can be a dominat CWD mostly if it's parents are dominet the baby is.
