She's a young adult. She has always loved to bask to the max, getting right under the warm spot, tip up her head and pant. The newspaper at the warm section reads 140 F. She also liked to lay for long periods under the 24 inch reptisun which is about 4 inches from her skin when she gets right ubder it, alongside the warm area.
So, she started cowering in the cool side and quit eating. Off to the vet. Vet decides to de-worm, tells me to bring in a fresh fecal as soon as possible. I'm trying to figure out how to collect a fresh sample. I raised the temp of the cool end newspaper substrate to 88. I syringe 3 cc's of water to her twice per day. Right now, she hates me, and that's good because she gapes at me trying to bite. It makes it easy to stick a syringe in there. She won't let go of the syringe so I put her back in her habitat syringe and all once I'm sure she's swallowed all the water. This has gone on for about 5 weeks.
I just thought someone might have advice for me, since I've never before had a C. pectinata. BTW she has started eating zoophobas again. But she is not basking again yet.
