Iggy!

Hi, I'm new here. I finally got a computer after years of being without. I thought you all might enjoy this story. This is Iggy (original name right?). I've had her about 5 years. I got her as a recue with a history of mbd. After a couple growth spurts she developed severe curvature of the spine, and after a vet visit and some x-rays we discovered several bone fractures and some fractured vertebrate were to blame (along with the mbd). I was told she was healthy now and as long as her mobility remained she was good to go. She's done great since except for one prolapse incident. 6 months ago my girlfriend and I bought a house. Her dog had never shown any aggresion towards Iggy. About 3 weeks after we moved I came home to Iggy's enclosure dragged out into another room, and blood everywhere. Pooh Bear (the dog) had freaked out and attacked iggy through the wire cage, severing her one front arm, and damaging the other and her dewlap. Luckily we have a vet friend who was able to stitch Iggy up, and amputate her leg and she has made a full recovery. This is her today! She still gets around great and has a wonderful personality. I am lucky to have her in my life! (Now we keep Pooh Bear far away from Iggy, and she's locked up when we are not home).

Sorry for the picture quality, it's from a camera phone.
