Odd eating behavior

dana1969 Jan 27, 2006 01:46 AM

I have a 9 year old, male (based on size - approx 15 inches) Kenyan Sand Boa.

He is still active and appears healthy. He typically takes F/T fuzzy mice with no problem (okay, occassionally he starts at the wrong end, but he figures it out pretty quickly and readjusts).

However, his last two feedings, there is no way to put this without sounding gross... he has literally just eaten the stomach/intenstines of the fuzzy and left the carcass.

Is this an indication of something?
