Jeff Teel must have picked that striped Greeri up from Eric Kikel.
Eric got the striped Greeri from Dan Vermilya (I believe). Dan picked her up along with her parents (again I believe). They (Dan and Eric) both tried to prove it out as being genetic, but was unsuccessful in doing so. I did pick up a younger sibling to the striped female.....She will breed for the first time this year....I doubt she carries the gene, but she does have some aberrancies that are nice.......

Here is a little info on the striped Greeri from an email that Eric sent me a week or so ago..........
""This is a striped greeri, pure, from applegate line. This guy was produced by Jim Kanzler in 2000 by a pair of adults which were produced by Bob Applegate, I now own this guy's parents as well. This male an the parents were then sold to Dan Vermilya in 2000 after hatching, and sold to me in 2003. I bred him for the first time this year to an unrelated female, (gave his mother the year off) and she laid 5 eggs, all fertile, but went bad a month into brumation.""

This is the striped greeri produced by Jim Kanzler. The striping was due to incubation and not genetics. A few of his ventral scales were fused and he had a small ventrolateral bump. I bred his parents a few times and all progeny were normal looking. The neat thing about this specimen is he has a solid jet black belly from neck to tail.
