Veild Cham sneezing

crestygecko Jan 27, 2006 12:22 PM

hey all,

I have had this CB cham for about 4 months now and she has been doing great, eats like a pig. I recently noticed that she has been sneezing. It's not often but I have noticed it. I thought it might be due to the really cold temps this year but want to ask if anyone knows why?? I would appreciate any advice. thanks in advance

Can you describe what you mean? I've never seen a cham sneeze. If the cham is gaping and "coughing" it may have a respiratory infection and need the help of a herp vet.

Is it a veiled? It might be "sneezing" salts out its nose.

Thanks to all

The Cham seems extremely healthy, very bright colors, and very active. To me it sounds more like a sneeze than a cough. I hope everything is well. At the first sign of ill health, she'll be at the VET ASAP!!

could she just be "huffing?" They will sometimes release air and do a little head lunge to scare you off. Suppose it could appear to be sneezing. If oyu are going to vet for the first time be sure to bring a fecal sample and have checked. This should be done about every 6 months. it is cheap ($12-$20 depending on where you live)
