Has anyone seen a snake like this

ricorns Jan 27, 2006 02:22 PM

I was at my local shop the otehr day and a breeder had just sold them his collection. They had a juvy (about 9 ms old) that was clearly the offspring of a green snow. The color & patterning, however was unlike anything I have seen so far. It looked like a snow, but with distinct and bright green outlines around the saddles. Has anyone seen anything like this before. I am going back to the shop tonight or tomorrow and will hopefully be coming home with an interesting new snake, so I'll post pictures when I can.

Thanks!

Yes,
There are some snows around that I believe are called neon snows and have, for lack of better termanology, neon greens and pinks.

I have a snow that shows a little green around the saddles but not quite the bright greens of the neons

Thanks draybar. Unforutunately, when I returned to the store tonight, the snow with the green was gone. I should never take time to think about a purchase like that. I never regret losing the money, but I always regret losing the snake... Anyway - I did get a relative of that snake. This girl has red saddles with the same green around them (although not quite as much). I'll post pics when I get her settled.

Hey Jimmy, I have heard them more commonly refered to as "pink and green snow" or "bubblegum snow".

Those are your normal pinks and greens like mine.
The extremely bright greens and pinks I'm pretty sure are neons.
