anythin better then paper towels?

fattiesNleos Jan 27, 2006 04:04 PM

I recently moved all my geckos to paper towels and i have been graphing their feeding ever sense. they all seem to be eating a little but not as much as they should. I think they cant eat them all because the crickets that arnt eaten are always hiding under the paper towels. I mist the paper b4 i go to bed to make sure they cant get under but then it dries and they hide under it again. i am using 32 quart sterilites to seperatly house each of my geckos.
does anybody else have this issue? or maybe i should just put more crickets in so the odds would be more crickets on top of the paper? is there any other substrate that would still be healthy but the crickets couldnt hide under it?

2.6 leos & 4 eggs

Your leos could be stressed if you leave the crickets running around in the tank all night. About the paper towel curling, perhaps you could put a few pebbles or other stuff in the corners to keep the lining straight? Or you could try using tiles?
