Folks,

About a week ago,Rob Carmichael sent me my red faced male Eastern Indigo back. This snake is named "Scarface", and he produced the best in show/most unusual snake at the I.R.B.A. Show here in San Diego a few years back. That was a GOOD YEAR for me, production was at an all time high, my article on Eastern Indigos had been published in Reptile & Amphibian Magazine, and I won must unusual in show with the female offspring of "Scarface", a red faced beauty who actually SOLD that same day to an interested party(She was a holdback and didnt go cheap, and I KICKED myself afterward, though I would get her back two years later...) and I was doing a LOT of classroom presentations.

I was forced to get rid of many of my snakes, esp Drys, as most of you know. Rob contacted me and told me that he wanted to send this snake back to me,despite being entertained by people that made him offers on it as he was cutting down on his numbers. I was overwhelmed! I answered with an enthusiastic "yes", as Scarface was and is my favorite Eastern Indigo next to my beloved "Cadillac" (R.I.P. Caddie)

I thought that it was an awesome gesture to send my snake back to me. After raising him from a neonate and breeding him and raising his offspring, only to sell them and eventually him, it was nice to have him back.

Thank you Rob C., your generosity and kindness are not taken lightly.Less is more, but its good to have Something.

thanks again,

Fred Albury
