WEEK IN REVIEW!!!!!!!

toshamc Jan 27, 2006 05:23 PM

Congrats to the Boa Forum for finally getting a Week In Review – if any forum needs it – that would be the one – tho I hear the columbrid forums could use one also, any takers?!?!?!?.
Keep up the good work!!!

Last weekend we had a post about back problems in some of our less than geriatric balls . Wishing you all the best of luck with your little ones!

A long commentary on putting together a website. If you are thinking about putting one together in the near future check it out: Truly generic website commentary Thanks Bill!

Phil (aka chameleon2005) finally got his balls switched to f/t.

A bunch of new ball owners this week – unfortunately they all seem to have inherited their snakes from people that couldn’t/wouldn’t take care of them any longer - . Props to you all for stepping in and doing the right things. Remember people, this is a 30 year commitment you are making when you purchase these animals!!!

Feeding questions, feeding questions and more feeding questions – - yes it’s winter they go off feed, yes they will start feeding again in another month or so, yes it’s normal, yes they will be ok. Did I miss any?

A Reverse Calico??? Wouldn’t a reverse calico be a shatter pattern? Oh well - what do y’all think? (ReptilesExotics)

Can you believe that the longest thread in the snake forum was about naming your dog. We are really hitting rock bottom folks.

But not as bad as the have you seen my fat cat thread …. LOL – yes your cat is fat, it’s not chunky, big boned or just really fluffy – it’s fat – but not nearly as fat as mine tho – LOL – very cute.

OK back to snakes – Lots of ovulation photos for this week. Mine are due to be laid on St. Patties Day and Hatched on Mothers Day – not that anyone cares.

Harlequins?!?!?! Whats up with these?!?!?! And better yet, why are they called Harlequins they aren’t very harlequin like?
Pastel Harlequin (snake evloutions)

Quote of the Week: A happy ball python is a hidden ball python ~ Finnigan

Josh got a new female albino – pictures to be posted later!

Couple of RI questions – watch your temperatures people!

And finally another “IS THIS A PASTEL POST” Geez we went 1,2,3,4 weeks without one!! BTW no it is not – very nice high yellow though.

A big week for Brian and Chrissy first a reptile show, then a new camera, these two are really getting hooked! Congrats guys! Yeah I know I still owe ya $10.

After two years of trying Cheryl finally got a male het pied that can copulate!!!! Congrats Cheryl! This should be a lesson to all – it’s not always as easy as throwing two snakes in the same cage.

This week we added “Professional Tupperware cleaner/connoisseur ” to the list of hats that Ball people must wear. For those of you that missed that post last year another brilliant post put together by a panel of experts:

Veterinarian, Zoo keeper, Carpenter, Electrician, Graphic artist, Photographer, Web designer, Sanitation worker, Boid ob/gyn, Therapist ( for both snakes and Herp friends), Data entry, Scientist, Geneticist, Clairvoyant/psychic, Sales person, Ad Writer, Accountant, Meteorologist, Mover, Shipping agent, Dating service, Extermination expert, Bounty hunter, Morphologist( identification of morphs and naming of new morphs), Rodent Breeder (and all hats included therein).

Market Crash Discussion of the Week – Pastels – Again

Cropping and resizing pictures and still keeping clarity.

Second clutch of the season has landed (first for Reptiles Exotics) Congrats Eric! Heres hopping there is something wicked cool in those eggs!

Another Ember Pic. – He’s getting Big Dave! (EmberBall)

Daves New Albino (someone forgot to tell him he’s supposed to melt in the sun) – LOL (Emberball)

Spider Breeding (oldskool28)

A very nice Mojo and Hypo (oldskool28)

A copulation photo – very nice Lesser (hkwagner5)

Can’t a girl have a nice dinner with out the paparazzi! (an1matr0n1k)

PICTURE OF THE WEEK!!!! Pastel Male - Picture By Adam Richardson, snake owned by Chad Schwinn

Two pretty balls – Love that one on the right (kalashnikov)

More artic picts (garycrain)

PICTURE OF THE WEEK - Wow (John Berry Reptiles)

Another low white pied! Beautiful!!! (ophidiophile)

PICTURE OF THE WEEK Ball Close up - Picture By Adam Richardson, snake owned by Chad Schwinn

Someone forgot to tell her that she is a ball python not a green tree python (ballpythons18)

A German Chocolate Ball!? (Siegi)

As long as they make pastels like this there is no need to fear the market crash. (davester)

TIED FOR THIRD PICTURE OF THE WEEK Another Beautiful Picture from Royal Variations!!

Some nice Cop picts from Wyatt @TW International – bout time someone posted a clown!

Have a great weekend!!!!

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.
