cricket question

slightlytwisted Jan 27, 2006 08:30 PM

OK i bought a ton of crickets for all my animals today. my container that i normally put them in is being steralized at the moment so i had to think fast. i had a tote about 1/4 full of potting soil and put them in. immediately the females started sticking their "tubes" in the soil. R they laying eggs? should i take them out and don something special with the tote? i usually dont try to raise my own but could come in real handy right now with hatchling. thanks in advance

Rather than type it all out here's a link to my sheet on breeding crickets, yes they are laying eggs.
