Het. Red Axanthic photos

Chad_Schwinn Jan 27, 2006 08:51 PM

A few photos of my 2005 male Het. Red Axanthics... more in the making as I type... I just wanted to share some great photos that really are representative of the patterns and colors of this morph (Thanks Adam!).

Let me know what you think.

A comparison shot with a normal

A close up...

And a few other backgrounds...

Thanks for looking!

Excellent photos. The blushing at the bottom (what would be called "flames" on a yellowbelly) are very distinctive. It would be great if you could add a few more photos showing this aspect of the Het Red so those trying to understand this morph take it into consideration. The Het Red is more than just a pretty black back, it has a super form (the Red Axanthic) and when crossed with a Pastel produces a really neat looking Het Red Pastel. I'm looking forward to more crosses with the Het Red next year.

Best wishes,
Python Joe
