NICARAGUAN ALLIGATOR LIZARD CARE??HELP!!!

hi i work as a re[tile specialist at petco. we recently recieved a nicaraguan alligator lizard and i really dont know much about them and can't find any info on them what so ever...does anyone have any experience with these lizards and give me some info...or a good site with carsheets on them.thanks!

There is very little info on this species of Alligator Lizard, as you said. I did find this site with pictures of them:

Maybe you should try calling the number on the bottom of that page. Seems to me they should know how to take care of those guys if they have one. Here's the info at the bottom of the page if you don't feel like visiting the page:

Hey, I keep several alligator lizards. They are easy to care for. You need to set up the tank with a forest type setup, you know, soil to dig, water dish, hide box, and some fake plants. I noticed that the petco here has been getting them in alot. They have no clue on caring for them. Most important, they like some moisture. I spray the tank down every morning. I have 4 Northerns, 1 Texas, and 2 Nicar alligator lizards, and they all are healthy and fat, so maybe this will help. Later, Shaun

I'm also a reptile specialist at Petco. We recently recieved a shipment of these Nicaraguan Alligator Lizards also. I've searched all over, trying to find out some info on them. They seem to like a moist habitate, but that's really all I can figure out.
