hi, i have a red eared slider, about the size of a toonie, which is fairly small. is ReptoMin baby by tetrafauna a good staple food for a baby red eared slider? if not, what is.
it says it is scientificaly formulated diet with calcium and vitamine c. so if its not good, what is?

IMO it's good food as long as it's not the only food. The widest variety of foods you can give them is best.
I've always used thawed out frozen fish foods for my turtles along with a variety of pellets, and live foods. Small worms, crickets,other bugs & minnows have always been a part of my aquatic turtle diets but the down side of that was when they were tiny hatchlings, someone had to hurt the fish so the turtles could catch them.
I left that for the dear old hubby to do which to him was like baiting a fish hook.. didn't bother him at all.
Mazuri also makes a good aquatic turtle diet, some of the pellets on the market aren't as good as others but Reptomin brand is one of the better ones.
