Is the world ready for the World's First Triple Hybrid Reticulated/Burmese/African Rock Hybrids?

HighEndHerpsInc Jan 28, 2006 10:43 AM

They'll be coming soon. This female hybrid rock burmese het albino bred with this tiger reticulated het albino a couple of months ago and has just ovulated for us. She is a 3-time producer of hybrid clutches so she shouldn't let us down this time.

Wish us luck!

are you going to try and make them 33% each, or at least close? or keep them 50% retic? i think if they are going to be 50% anything it should be burm so they have a better temperment

Hi Jake,

While it is true that burms are a lot more laid back and easier to handle than rocks and or retics they are not necessarily more aggressive and both have gotten a very bad and undeserved reputation from horror stories involving aggressive imports. All of the rocks that we have are very calm and docile though males can be a little confrontational with body language alone. All of the retics that we have are also very calm and docile, though they, like all retics will shove you around while holding them. (retics are very strong willed and will forcibly try to get their way). By the same token every hybrid with any combination of the above animals has thus far been some of the tamest and most docile snakes that we have ever produced. I am confident that the triple burretocs will be no exception.

Thanks for your post.
