Jody P: about unknown bacteria in cerebral fluid

tanmuscles Jul 25, 2003 07:42 PM

One of my monitor seems to be displaying some of the sypmtoms you describe. He is very sluggish. Today i notice him twitch his head to the left and towards the ground as if he was trying to kill a cricket that was in his mouth. There was no cricket and he is barely eating. He escaped and was on the loose for 2 weeks. I guessed his sluggish behavior was because of this, but when you posted about the head moving to one side, it made me question. What do you (or anyone else) think?

It could be the problem, or could be something else wrong with him. I would have your vet run tests to be certain. I hope it is not the bacteria I mentioned as that has shown to be fatal with no cure.
