Hey Matt.. got a pic?
I know the brown tree frog and white lipped tree frog can both be found in Vietnam.. I have heard both refered to as "vietnam giant tree frogs", I have also heard some of the mossy frogs refered to as vietnam giants..

Anyways.. a pic would help..
you can also try the cal photos site for a match..

anyways.. the one I most commonly hear called the vietnam giant (or sometimes just giant treefrog) is the whitelipped frog.. or Litoria infrafrenata

but also check out Polypedates leucomystax (I have refered to as giant tree frog), Theloderma corticale, Theloderma asperum and Theloderma horridum (all three of the Theloderma's I have heard called Vietnam tree frogs.. )

This may or may not get you any closer.. but I hope it helps..

Get a picture posted if you can, we can get it narrowed down alot easier that way..

Guys,

This is Polipedates sp. Denissii group. This is biggest tree frog in the world. Thelodermas not so big, as you think. T. corticale, as i understand, the biggest vietnamese species of genus, T. asperum is small one - less than 4 cm.

See this foto from Zoocom company, this is adult female with good white spots (its exceptional specimen). I know "she" personally
