Hi all, I've had Angus for over a year now and i SWEAR he hasn't grown since i've gotten him,,,, ok,, well, maybe 1 inch,, he's 6.5in now,,, as near as i can figure i've got it right, i'll give you all a run down of what i've got and what i'm doing and PLEASE point out anything thats not right. He's in a 18X36" glass tank,, play sand substrate,, he's got a hide on the "cooler" side which is 80 degrees he's got a basking site that reaches 125 degrees,, his diet includes greens (endive, collard greens, dandelion greens) with peas, shredded carrots, and other various veggies, i use calcium with d3 2times a week,, herpitive once a week and every couple of days i sprinkle his 'salad' with Uro Dust by Sandfire (T-Rex),,, i've seen him eating, he's pooping, basks,, seems happy and healthy just small,,,oh,, and yes i have a uvb bulb 5.0,,, lights on for 12 hrs,, are they just slow growers or am i screwing up somewhere along the line?? thanks, Lo

They are slow growers, at least mine was. How old is he/she? do you know? At some ages an inch in a year might be quite an accomplishment!

Sometimes, they don't look like they're growing but when you go and pick them up, you suddenly realize that they've grown a lot! Because they grow so slowly, you're less likely to notice because it's so gradual.

Thanks to all for putting my mind to rest,, I guess when I've raised a beardie and a veiled chameleon and seen THEM grow it just seems like he's really slow. Good to hear I'm just being an over-reactive parent. Thanks, Lo
