*** Piebald-Leo ? ***

bethoven Jan 29, 2006 10:45 AM

maybe remember some people to my little piebald boy,now we proud to present the first baby from this boy, this little leo change the color extrem also the blue get more and more intensiv,so we think and hope thats a genetic strain, the sibling from this baby leo looks normal,so is this with a little luck a new co dominat leopardgecko morph.
the baby leo is from the breeding a normal female with the piebald.
so far we know is no other leopardgecko piebald outhere... or?
the piebald leo daddy is a wildcaught!!! this boy is not CB so we can say to 100% that this bloodline is not crossed with any know morph on the market today, the piebald daddy is not a designermorph.

now we test this year the genetic for full, but breeding is just a hobby,so i need a little more time like some from the big breeders...

I personally can say I've never seen anything like it, and it's pretty nice looking. Congrats.

No, piebaldism is not anything new. Here is a link where they mention the piebald trait, scroll to the bottom of the page:

and which breeder have a genetic piebald leopardgecko?
i dont understand why do you post a link to this text, that dont show a genetic piebald.
if i understand that wrong and you have piebald leopardgeckos, please post a picture from a piebald leopardgecko, thank you.

I guess you misunderstand, that is not my site, it is the site of a very well known breeder VMS. I was simply saying it does not appear to be something new & unknown as it is listed under their Mutations link. Just sounds to me like this has been seen before.
