Hey your odds are 50/50 you'll either get one or not - you could get two or three - ya never know.

Its all about odds. Since these are based on averages, there is no real guarantee. I did a hetxhet and produced six eggs with twins in one egg. I hatched zero albinos. Two years later I bred the same pair and one holdback 66% daughter. Mom produced six more eggs and two were albinos. The daughter only had five eggs and hatched three albinos.
SO you never know. I have heard of far worse results that question the legitimacy of the hets.

out of het x het & double het breedings, I have yet to completely bomb.
I have always produced at least one albino out of "20ish" clutches in the past.

BLOODLINES

This 2005 season we bred our Albino male to a Het Albino female and got 6 eggs and 6 Albinos. Another breeder who is a good friend of ours did the same breeding got 6 eggs and 0 Albinos. Then he told us he had our 3 Hets and to send him his 3 Albinos and he would send us our Hets.
In the long run and through numerous clutches the percentages tend to even out.

It's all basically a crap shoot. Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances. And just like gamblin', its the hits that make you come back for more.
Mind you this is NOT from personal experience(yet), just observations from watchin' the excitement in here every time somebody DOES hit.
