Hello everyone

caroleD Jan 29, 2006 05:20 PM

Ah yes, another lurker deciding to make an appearence
I use to be found on the Blood forum, but thanks to life picking up a quicker pace I don't really post on any of my forums anymore. oh well, what are ya gonna do?

This is a picture of my girl Batina. Batina is an '00 from Steve Hammond. She's an absolute doll and runs an impressive competition with my bloods for my choice of 'best snake' Anyways, just wantedt to show off my girl. I don't have any exact measurements, but I'd say she's pushing 7ft and she's gotta be more than 20lbs...at least that's what my body says after I'm done carrying her around
The second picture is one of me and my sister...one of the few decent pictures i have with one of my snakes! Well, hope i didn't bore anyone too much..now I have to go write a Tech Writing paper for class. yech!

Thanks!!

I too don't spend much time on forums anymore. Between school, work, and taking care of my boas, it is tough to find time to do anything else.

You'll enjoy this forum, there are a lot of great people, and a lot of information to be learned. Plus you get all the great boa pictures!

Here is a picture of me last summer with my old Anery. I no longer have him, Greg Rienhart does.

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah I'm sure I probably won't make another post for a month or so, ha! Gets tough trying to balancing everything out! Take care

Morgans Boas Jan 29, 2006 08:04 PM

Judging by the group photo, having 3 fingers on one hand, and having an albino sister would cause me to believe that you'd be into morphs. But the beautiful Boa (BCC, I believe) is contrary to this theory. LOL
In all seriousness, that's a lovely Boa, and if by chance you really do have only 3 fingers there, then please don't take offense because I was only making good-hearted fun of the morph vs locality debaters. To me a healthy living/breathing Boa of any kinda is a privelige to posess. I really am a nice guy, really

Haha, no worries! I went back and looked at the photo and started laughing, as it does look like I have only 3 fingers....oh well, as long as i have the middle finger! Hmm, I think I would count as the 'albino' haha, my sister is a fan of tanning beds :D
Thanks for the laugh take care

Youre quite welcome Is that your only boa? Shes a beast btw. Its soo rare to see women working with snakes or keeping them as a pet, hats off to ya!
I dont work with too many boas a pair of Bci (pastel) and a pair of Bclongicauda (the one I posted is the male)are all.
My interests lie mainly with Womas and Heloderma.

That is the spirit mountain, AKA, Baboquivari Peak in SE Arizona. I was doing some field work last fall, took a break to hunt green ratsnakes with a buddy and stopped to watch the sunset on Mt. Hopkins. That male is nice! thats some nice color too, is that a Bcc or Bci? Well, time to pack for Florida.
Good talking to you too.

Thanks for the warm welcome I need to post some pictures of how crazy purple/pink Batina's sides get....she's not up on the level of most the boas pictured on this forum, but i think she's purty enough

michaelburton Jan 30, 2006 01:24 AM

Your boa is killer. This forum is very entertaining. Lots of awesome pictures and debates. Hope to see some more posts and pictures from you.

haha! Nice! Thanks for the comments on Batina She's darkening up, but her sides still get some pretty nice colors on them. Awesome boa you have there, is that a salmon? My boa morph knowledge still has a ways to go. Take care!

michaelburton Jan 30, 2006 05:55 PM

Ya, she is a salmon het for Sharp strain albino boa. Here is a current picture of the pair.
