I made the first one of these in 2000 and they have been popping up ever since, and now I have this figured out.
Imagine a Ball Python that gets more lemon yellow with age.
Pastels, Clowns etc....

When they first come out of the egg they look like pink slugs.

I prefer that nice contrast between the yellow and white of a high contrast Albino myself. An Albino that is mostly faded yellow just does not appeal to me. It kind of reminds me of an Albino Columbian Boa.

Hey guys,
This is Joe Ellis. I bought an albino from you guys a while back and you guys told me that the blush might come out in this little guy. Well this is his 2.5 year mark and he is doing AWESOME. He it bleeding yellow all over. He is a father and I have some hets and normals gravid by him. email me @ ballsales@aol.com if you want to see pics

I purchased this male as a hatchling last year from Anthony McCain. I was wondering if you thought he has the blush look and if you had sold albinos to Anthony in the past.

As a hatchling he had small blush marks that have spread as he has grown.

He is 650 grams now and is still getting more yellow. I hope in another year he looks even more like yours.

Thanks,

Jaremy

It is for sure an increasing Xanthic Gene so yellow blush it is.
However ours always start out looking like Snows ..... Look at the Axanthic looking Python in the pic below... breed these lines together and see if it's compatible. VPI also has a yellow headed Ball Python that is similar.
