Hi everyone,
Do leopard torts make good pets? I would like to get one.

They can but there are better tortoises such as Russians or Redfoots. They are much more active as a rule.

Trying to keep the fun in Chelonian care

Who says redfoots and russians make better pets? BS! leopards are great pets - mine are very active and friendly. The advantage of a leopard is they need a dryer enclosure - less mold, less mess, they eat mostly grass (cheap!). Highly recommended - however they are difficult to raise without getting bumpy shells. They love to grow too fast in captivity.
