lobster roaches

does anyone know much about these guys and if they are safe to feed to beardies or anything lse. I have a monitor who I might be feeding them to and was just wondering if i could feed them to everyone. I also have leopard geckos but just thought id add them if anyone knows.

What do you want to know about them. They are about 3 times as nutritious as crix, don't smell, breed like mad, softer bodied than crix and an excellent food source for all the animals you mentioned. The only drawback to them is they do climb glass so you'll either need to put a few inch strip of vaseline on the top of their tub or use bugstop (liquid teflon).

thanks guys Ill probably be buying about 200 as to start a breeding colony. would a vented rubbermade with some egg cartons in it be just fine for keeping them in with the line of patrolium jelly round the time.

Yep, as long as it's really well ventilated. I run all mine lidless. 200 should get you going, just don't feed off all your adults until your colony gets established.
