before i buy a heat bulb .. i am trying to reason

a 50 whatt bulb sitting right on the top of the tank will NOT create too much heat, causing any problems, and the cham should be fine in that tank right?
the tank is 24x12x20high

please let me know .. i cant remember exactly what i did with my baby veiled 3 years ago

You say tank? i think you should get some screen in there if not dont already. I dotn know if it will create too much heat or not, Do trial and error, set up thermometers what you should already have ands seen the temps, if too hot get higher Wattage, too cold, get lower.. You get me?

yeha - the tank is temperary till the pantehr reaches 6 months of age

from experience you are asking for problems with a tank you need more air circulation. you can build a small screen cage with a tuperware bottom in 2 hours and for 50 bucks it will safe you problem in the long run. as for heat lights it all depends on how warm your house is? is it by a window? heigth of screen cage? i keep my house a 70 and just use a 30 watt bulb on my babies how are in 1'x 2'x 2' and depending on how young we are talking you may go 1'x 18" x 18" to avoid stress and trouble catching food. hope this helps
