I purchased a scale from eBay It’s a DigiWeigh Model DW-250BS. It measures up to 250G. I got it brand new very cheep “Sorry don’t remember the exact cost but it was under $10. I simply turn it on. Place a container on it that the Gecko will fit in “Make sure it’s a clear container just in case it covers the digital read out, that way you can look through it to get your weight” Once the container is on the scale I hit the TARE button to 0 the scale out and then place the Gecko in the container for an accurate reading. The scale is accurate or - .01G Hope this helps.

yay, thanks! i'm looking on ebay right now!
I am extremely happy with the scale. It is small enough to fit in my pocket so its very easy to use in the field and its digital so that’s kind of nice. The only draw back to it is it only measures up to 250G which is no problem for Leopard Geckos but I must buy a new scale to weigh my ever growing snakes.

I just use a digital food scale that I bought at Bed, Bath & Beyond. You can get them at any department store, Walmart, Target, Meijers etc. Most of the digitals have the tare function, but if you don't want to use it or it doesn't have it simply weight your container first, then add the Leo & substract the weight of the containter
