Racks are the way to go! good for you! and you have some nice cals, i don't like cals as much as i did when i was a kid, but, cals are essential to the complete getula keeper.

thanks i have 35 kings. i have loved them all my life. at the begining of this year i didn't have any snakes. i gave everything away ten years ago. i saw a thayeri in a pet store and boom i was hooked again. so i have been catching up on my lost time. check out this female. i meet this kid out front of a pet shop. he wanted to buy a ball python. he didn't have enough money and the shop owner wouldn't take this snake as a trade. so i gave him 60 bucks.i just wish i knew what it was. he said he bought it as a cal king. the face and head yes. the back pattern? it is the sweetest snake and when a get my snake room complete it is going to be in a cool show case.they are all pets to me.i'm not going to breed it.the pics are not the best but do you want to take a stab at what she is.

Don't want to say it but looks like some prairie or G.P.rat in that. Cool pattern if it is all king.

i was leaning to the prairie king also.who knows. my seven y/o son calls it his.i put a big blanket on the floor and he spends time holding it. really good snake for him to build his trust of reptiles with.

Very interesting cal, i'd say a pure one of a certain locality seems to me i seen that type b/4 but can't place it.

The bigger one is a girl I hatched in 04. I like her cuz she has three distinct colors. You can't really see in the pic but her sides are creamy yellow, her body is jet black and her spots are pure white. Her belly also has a crazy patern.

I got the little male to pair up with her from Rick at Renegade this past season. His belly is start white up to the vent then the tail is totally black.

Under your 1st pic i see fur what exactly kind of animal is that? Thanks in advance.

That is my chubby buddy Poe laying belly up at the base of my rack. He likes the heat radiating from the cages. The kitten is MJ.

That guy is sick! Neat head pattern... do you see the smiley face?

xbertmouser Feb 01, 2006 05:18 AM

slam dunk!! that is sweet. back of head looks like a clown face w/ a big bow tie. thanks for sharing

FR Feb 01, 2006 09:00 AM

That pic was right after she hatched. I need to take another as she has cleaned up alot and gotten whitter. I was not expecting a reversed spotted, so I was very happy.

There is another from that clutch that is morris code. It has spots then spaces, then more spots, then more spaces. Those are my to favorites from that clutch. There were some other really odd ones from that clutch too, One aztec, one pure reverse striper(someone stole it at the reptile show) a nearly perfect reverse striper, and a bunch of goofy ones. More pics coming soon. Thanks
