If someone had to guess.. What morph would this be... Large pics

Lucien Jan 30, 2006 05:31 PM

Bear in mind I do know the genetics behind this guy but I want some opinions because he's unlike anything I've ever hatched... I want some guesses and then I'll tell you guys what his actual genetics are... because he's certainly not the norm for what you'd get from this crossing I've done...

Sorry for the blurriness.. he's a very little guy so had to take pics on my hand... little unsteady...

Well, you guys are right to a point though I've never hatched a blizzard with the dark head.. the patterning down its neck and the dusting of black on the legs... and I've hatched a few blizzards before.. raised quite a few others and sold them. This guy actually closely resembles the patternless mack snows that geckosetc.com produced earlier this year though it has no snow in the background as far as I know... This came out of my blazing blizzard project... its clutchmate is definately a blizzard without any of the black to it... The coloring surprised me... it also appears to have hatched too early according to my records... and it didn't absorb the yolk from its egg at all.. as a matter of fact.. its yolk was bigger than it was.. Not sure why... just a wierd set of circumstances... I'll be watching him over the course of his shedding for the next few weeks to months to see if all the black marking disappears..

I've never hatched out a blizzard before, but I have seen many pictures of babies with dark heads and legs like that. Maybe he/she will be a midnight blizzard. Let use know if he/she darkens up. I would say now way near a patty snow.
