cage floor material

cmh7s Jan 30, 2006 08:29 PM

I currently keep the bps in a really nice rack from boaphile. However, I want to put the kiddies on display since they are so beautiful to look at.

The point is, I am designing display cages for them and I'm deciding what to use as the bottom of the cage. I will use heat tape underneath. I don't want to use glass because some of the cages will have lights underneath (for another display below) which i don't want showing through the substrate. On the other hand, I want something easy to clean and not so thick that the heat can't get through. What have you all used in the past? Pros, cons?

thanks.

I like Sintra or other types of expanded PVC.
